*Exploring the North Norfolk Coast Wednesday 5th August 2026 Our day commences with a coffee stop at Cherry Lane Garden Centre, before continuing on to the cliff-top resort of Cromer, famous for its crabs, with small independent shops & cafes, fine sandy beaches and a traditional pier; We drop off here, before taking the remainder of the party to Sheringham, “jewel of the north Norfolk coast”, an attractive seaside town, home of the North Norfolk Heritage Railway, with its interesting shops & tea rooms, long promenade and open-air market. The Historic Dockyard, Chatham with morning refreshments Tuesday 18th August 2026 Includes: A visit to the Historic Dockyard, Chatham, with its many attractions, often used as a TV & film set, including the popular drama, Call the Midwife, and morning refreshments (tea/coffee & pastries). Newbury & a Horse-Drawn Barge Cruise with Cream Tea Friday 4th September 2026 Today’s tour takes us to Kintbury, where we board a lovely horse-drawn barge, for a two hour cruise along the pretty Kennett & Avon Canal. As we glide through the peaceful Berkshire countryside, we enjoy a delicious cream tea while listening to the water gently lapping against the hull. Prior to our cruise, we will make a lunch stop in the idyllic market town of Newbury, in the heart of rural Berkshire (includes cream tea & fare for cruise). Adult/S.C: £82
*Charming Aldeburgh & lunch at Flora Tearooms Tuesday 29th September 2026 Today’s tour commences with a coffee stop at the welcoming Notcutts Garden Centre in Woodbridge. Continuing on, through rolling expanses of broom and heather, we reach the former Roman and Medieval port of Dunwich, where we enjoy lunch at Flora Tearooms, reputedly the best fish and chip restaurant in East Anglia. On leaving Dunwich we make our way via the fantasy mock Tudor village of Thorpeness, famous for its House in the Clouds, windmill and Peter Pan themed meare, to the traditional seaside resort of Aldeburgh, with its pastel-coloured 19th century holiday villas lining the promenade, delightful high street, and pebble beach, with fisherman selling their daily catch.
