Historic St Albans on Market Day & Festive Van Hages – Wednesday 11th December 2024 Our first visit on today’s excursion is to Hertfordshire’s oldest town, the Roman city of St Albans, with its magnificent Abbey Church, dominating the skyline. This historic town boasts all the usual high street names, individual shops and a vibrant, award-winning open air market, dating back to the 9th century. We return via the fabulous Van Hage Garden Centre at Great Amwell, the group’s flagship site, with its beautifully landscaped car park and massive shopping space boasting a garden, home and festive experience like no other, with a unique and inspirational fashion department, as well as a new food hall and restaurant. The Co-op Juniors Christmas Spectacular with lunch - Friday 13th December 2024 After many successful years performing at the Snape Maltings Concert Hall, the award-winning Co-op Juniors Theatre Company have relocated their fabulous Christmas Spectacular to Trinity Park in Ipswich. Journey to another world, where your Christmas wishes come true, at the Magic of Christmas, a brand new theatrical stage show in the stunning heated Big Top Theatre. This 90 minute experience features a cast of 80 performers and a unique story, which combines singing, dancing and magical surprises in a celebration of Christmas unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. This long established group, includes performers of all ages, from children through to adults, and are the largest amateur theatre company in the UK. The show starts at 4pm and there will be a visit to Notcutts Garden Centre, Woodbridge over the lunchtime period. Adult/S.C: £83 (includes ticket & 2-course lunch) (Not B & S)

New Year’s Day Proms at the Barbican - Wednesday 1st January 2025 Welcome in the New Year at London’s Barbican Concert Hall with a celebration of well-loved music from across Europe, greeting 2025 with a sumptuous afternoon of traditional favourites; this glittering concert is one way to ensure a fabulous start to the year. 3pm performance (includes ticket for concert). Price to be advised – please call to make a provisional reservation (tickets available June/July)

Chippenham Park Snowdrops & Scotsdales – Thursday 13th February 2025 Today’s circular tour takes us to the popular Scotsdales Garden Centre, where we have the opportunity for shopping and lunch. We spend the afternoon at award-winning Chippenham Park Gardens, nr Ely, admiring what is reputedly the greatest display of delicate and naturalised snowdrops and aconites in East Anglia (admission included). The Chippenham tea room will be open, serving delicious food and drinks. Adult/S.C: £48 (Not B & S)
Note: For Day Excursions marked (Not B & S) we are unable to pick up in Shenfield or Brentwood, apologies for any inconvenience. If you live in these areas, your nearest boarding point would be Mountnessing. However, all Holidays and Short breaks include Shenfield & Brentwood pick ups.
